Anything Goes (1936) was a Comedy - Musical Film directed by Lewis Milestone and produced by Benjamin Glazer.

SYNOPSIS

In this Cole Porter musical, good-natured Billy mistakenly thinks that a woman is being kidnapped. He follows her and her kidnappers onto an ocean liner, pretending to be a mobster in order to see her. Billy learns that Hope is actually an heiress who has run away from all her family, and the two instantly fall in love. She breaks things off, however, when she thinks Billy is really a gangster.
