She Done Him Wrong (1933) was a Comedy - Romance Film directed by Lowell Sherman and produced by William LeBaron.

SYNOPSIS

This is the movie that made West a star and features one of her most famous performances. West plays Diamond Lil, who runs a saloon on the Bowery for Beery. She takes a shine to young missionary Grant, who reveals himself to be an undercover cop investigating the crime spree. Beery runs out of the saloon when he claims West's heart. Based on her stage play Diamond Lil, this includes the bawdy numbers "Frankie and Johnny," "I Like a Guy What Takes His Time," and "Easy Rider."
