Elvis Presley recorded a song, "I'm a Roustabout", but it was not used and went unreleased. It was rediscovered in 2003.
In the closing scene Elvis lifts a child into the arms of "The Strongman" portrayed by Richard Kiel ( "Jaws" of James Bond fame).
Elvis Presley's eye was cut whilst filming the "Tea House" fight scene at the start of the film. He can be seen sporting a band-aid later on.
