Brother Orchid Overview:

Brother Orchid (1940) was a Comedy - Crime Film directed by Lloyd Bacon and produced by Hal B. Wallis and Mark Hellinger.

SYNOPSIS

In this offbeat gangster farce, mobster Robinson runs afoul of his former colleagues in the gang. So he cools it in a monastery, where he finds himself being reformed by the brothers. However, when he discovers his former gang preventing the monks from selling flowers, he ponders a return to his former life to settle the score.
