SYNOPSIS
A famed entertainer returns to the old Paradise Club in New York where he began his career. In flashback, he recalls the club at its height, when he worked as a young hoofer, pulling in audiences with his partner, Billie. A fanciful evocation of Depression-era high times and crimes.
