Zenobia Overview:
Zenobia (1939) was a Comedy - Black-and-white Film directed by Gordon Douglas and produced by A. Edward Sutherland.
SYNOPSIS
Hardy gamely tests his comic wings without perennial sidekick Laurel; instead, we get a taste of silent veteran Langdon as Hardy's foil. The plot is essentially a pachyderm romance: Langdon is a carnie who loves Zenobia the elephant, but her affections stray when Dr. Hardy delicately undoes a knot in her tail. The miffed Langdon takes Hardy to court to win back Zenobia's love, but she comes back on her own.
