The Beautiful Blonde from Bashful Bend (1949) was a Comedy - Romance Film directed by Preston Sturges and produced by Preston Sturges.
SYNOPSIS
A Sturges Western! Grable plays Freddie, a tough girl with an open mind about turning a dollar, who goes gunning for her straying boyfriend, and shoots a judge by mistake. She hides out by pretending to be a demure schoolteacher and gets involved with a mining magnate. A town dispute causes gunplay that brings Freddie to the law's attention again, inciting a shoot-out in court and another puncture to the sitting judge. Keeps getting better.
