Pocketful of Miracles Overview:
Pocketful of Miracles (1961) was a Comedy - Drama Film directed by Frank Capra and produced by Frank Capra, Glenn Ford and Joseph Sistrom.
SYNOPSIS
Capra's star-studded, sentimental final film is a remake of his 1934 Lady for a Day and both are based on the hoary Damon Runyon tale. An aging apple-seller (Davis) passes herself off as a woman of wealth in order to help her daughter marry into a well-to-do family. Assisting her in the comic charade is a motley group of small-time gangsters led by a disarming Falk. Ann-Margaret made her film debut.
