Bright Victory (1951) was a Drama - War Film directed by Mark Robson and produced by Robert Buckner.
SYNOPSIS
Acclaimed performance by Kennedy as a vet blinded during WWII trying to readjust to civilian life. When a lovely young nurse, Dow, helps him in his transition, he is reluctant to leave the hospital. After hometown rejection, he returns to Dow to bravely face his future without denial. Kennedy was nominated for Best Actor, but the Award went to Humphrey Bogart for African Queen.
