SYNOPSIS

Martin and Lewis get their first star billing in this hilarious song-filled and gag-filled comedy. The duo play Puccinelli and Korwin, pals who join the army and immediately get into a load of trouble on a military training base. Highlights include a sequence involving a noncooperative soda machine, Jerry Lewis performing "The Navy Gets the Gravy But the Army Gets the Beans," and the team's impersonation of the Bing Crosby - Barry Fitzgerald characters from the classic film Going My Way.
