Anthony Adverse (1936) was a Adventure - Drama Film directed by Mervyn LeRoy and Michael Curtiz (uncredited) and produced by Hal B. Wallis, Henry Blanke and Jack L. Warner.

The film was based on the novel of the same name written by Hervey Allen published in 1933.

SYNOPSIS

The intriguing story of a young man's globe-trotting adventures during the time of Napoleon and his struggle for personal and financial success. An excellent cast, wonderful music, and great cinematography helped make this a blockbuster of its time. Based on Hervey Allen's novel.
