Another Part of the Forest (1948) was a Drama - Romance Film directed by Michael Gordon and produced by Jerry Bresler.

SYNOPSIS

A darkly fascinating study of internecine greed and soul-destroying lust for power based on Lillian Hellman's second study of the Hubbard family, this time in the post-Civil War era. March is a brutal tyrant, flush with the tainted wealth of salt profiteering at the expense of the Southern cause, who torments his sons, driving O'Brien into exile. O'Brien discovers the rotten foundation of his father's wealth and proceeds to destroy him by exposing his role as a traitor.
