Angels Over Broadway Overview:

Angels Over Broadway (1940) was a Adventure - Comedy Film directed by Ben Hecht and Lee Garmes and produced by Douglas Fairbanks Jr. and Ben Hecht.

SYNOPSIS

Hecht brings to life the world of loners, two-bit hustlers, and has-beens that populate Times Square. Fairbanks plans to swindle a suicidal thief, but then plots with call girl Hayworth to turn his life around. Great cast in an unusually black comedy for its time.
