All My Sons Overview:

All My Sons (1948) was a Drama - Film Adaptation Film directed by Irving Reis and produced by Chester Erskine.

SYNOPSIS

A well-to-do family, headed by stern but loving airplane-parts magnate Joe Keller, grimly contends with the loss of a son in a WWII firefight. Their wounds are reopened when the lost son's former fiancee finds comfort in the arms of his surviving brother. Worse still, the fiancee's brother drives a wedge between father and son by alleging that Keller's substandard hardware contributed to the deaths of innocent flyboys - a crime for which Keller's business partner took the fall. Richly nuanced performances bring Miller's play to the big screen.
