Began her career as one of Ziegfield's chorus girls. Before going to Hollywood, she was a specialty dancer on stage and later starred with Leon Errol in the stage-play "Louie the 14th".
In the 1940s she appeared in only one movie, before retiring due to poor health in 1946 and dying, at age 41, in 1949.
The fiancée of actor/director Lowell Sherman.
