Elvis Presley and Vincent Price never met.
Elvis used to sing some of his hit songs on the set, and would often suck helium from balloons to make his voice sound high and strange.
First time this film was going to be filmed in 1959 with Glenn Ford. Production was delayed, and Elvis Presley was consider as co star. In 1964 Dick Van Dyke was considered for the leading role.
On its theatrical release, this was part of a double bill with The Green Slime.
