Indianapolis, Indiana, Friday, May 13, 1940: Universal Pictures Inc., Studebaker Sales Corporation and "Lucky" Teeter, daredevil auto-circus driver, are named defendants in a $100,000 damage suit filed in Superior Court by Earl Lester Simon. Simon, a stunt driver, claims that Universal used scenes of stunts done by him and his assistants at the Studebaker proving grounds, in "Danger on Wheels, " and credited the action to Teeter. Complaint asks for an accounting of the film's receipts and an accounting of Studebaker sales since the release of the picture, and claims that Simon has not received remuneration for his services.
